This is a personal style blog featuring tons of DIY tutorials, styling tips, and budget shopping picks; focused on how to look fabulous on a budget with a dose of creativity.

My readership encompasses mostly women, from 18 – 45, and we pretty share one thing in common: we’re lusting after that designer look, and rely on our creative abilities and savvy shopping to re-create it!  If your business or website features fashionable items that don’t break the bank, luxury items for less, crafty products, tools, or supplies, indie designer finds, or handmade goods – then it would be a great fit for my audience!

Purchase advertising space on www.chic-steals.com.  I am small business and indie designer – friendly!  Current advertising rates and visitor stats are in my media kit here.

Offer an item for giveaway on Chic Steals.  Usually giveaways last about 1 week, generating a great deal of traffic.  I promote the giveaway on other giveaway directories and websites, and choose a winner via third-party randomization software.  You would be responsible for shipping the item to the winner.

Provide an item for me to feature in an outfit.  I link whatever I’m wearing to the website where it’s available for purchase.  Usually I post outfits about twice per week, which I also share on a number of street style photo aggregator websites.  However, the item I feature has to be of good quality and to my personal taste (which is pretty eclectic though!) for me to provide an honest and ringing endorsement.

Offer a discount or promotional coupon for Chic Steals readers to use on your site.  My readers love a good bargain – and this is a great way to bring targeted traffic to your website!  I would promote this with a post on my blog and through various social network channels.

I welcome guest posts in the form of tutorials, written by DIY’ers who run their own DIY or craft-related blogs.  Let me know if you’re a DIY’er and interested!

I also support local fashion- and art-related events in my area.  Please let me know if there is an event you’d like me to attend and I can feature it on the blog.

What I Don’t Do

I don’t allow paid posts.

I don’t allow advertisers who link to pages containing alcohol/firearms/cigarettes/tobacco/pornographic material/material unsuitable for viewers under the age of 18.

I don’t allow advertisers who advertise products unrelated to my site content; i.e., not in the misses’ fashion/craft supply/accessories/crafting books etc. product categories.  (No lawnmowers, please!!)
