Free Product Isn’t Really Free

Free Product Isnt Really Free

Found on CraftSnark, a really awesome website with a ton of snarky posters and graphics depicting what it’s really like to be a craft blogger.  Start reading the posts and you’ll get addicted.  Or at least, I am addicted.  It’s.all.SO.TRUE.

And yes, often companies contact me offering me free products to use in a tutorial on my blog.  When it’s itemized line-by-line like that….the time investment and financial investment doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.  Thank you CraftSnark!

So true! I am a DIY blogger too and I really identify myself with this quote. It’s so hard and so expensive but I think it’s really worth it!

    So funny, so true.

  3. Haha, this cracks me up. I do reviews and giveaways frequently on my site- and I always want it to be a win-win… an equal investment for both parties but trying to explain why I can’t write a detailed post with SEO keywords and 18 pictures with 8 posts on Pinterest sometimes is just ridiculous… sometimes it’s not worth it!

  4. This eCard perfectly and succinctly describes one of my BIGGEST pet peeves about how bloggers are treated! So well put.
